The arch of the foot, whether its ‘alive’ or ‘asleep’, directly impacts the shape our body defines within an asana. The arches of our feet will, in turn, affect the health of our knees and the balance in our pelvis, and from there upward through our entire spine. With intelligence, we can use the foot arch as a tool toward better structural support, improved circulation, and more balance within the nervous system.
